Hello, and thank you for your interest in my online profile.
I hold a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Pennsylvania State University (M.I.A.), with a certification in Development Policy, a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications, with an emphasis in News Editorial, as well as a B.A. in International Affairs, with an emphasis in South Asia. The latter two are from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
My main interest and passion lies in sustainable development. Career-wise, I hope to work for an organization that provides endurable improvements to support for communities in need, in developing nations.
At PSU, I have worked as a research assistant to a professor of International Affairs/associate faculty of Law on a variety of subjects including environmental changes, disaster management, and water resources. Additionally, I have worked as a student associate for the career service center of the School if International Affairs, and as an editor to the graduate student run blog, the PSU Global Forum.
My journalism career in Boulder, CO has taken me from a campus-run online publication, to a city-wide publication. My journalistic experiences have provided me with ample experience in deadline writing, interviewing and editing.
Although I have no formal experience in the subject, photography-- especially that of international landscapes-- is an interest of mine, as well. Included on this site are some photographs of my travels that are especially dear to me.
Please feel free to browse this web site, and look at some of my published clips, academic work, photographs, and resume. Links provided at the bottom of the page direct you to some of my social media interactions as well. I'd love to hear from you further; hit "contact" to send me an email.
Thank you!
